Local Lobby Days this April
We are collaborating with Habitat NC and the NC Housing Coalition to plan a Lobby Day at the state legislature. April 8th and 10th we are engaging with our local legislators for Local Lobby Days. We'll also be participating in the State Lobby Day on April 9th. This means opportunities to speak directly with your elected officials on the importance of affordable housing. Habitat Wake will set up meetings, provide talking points, and hold a preparation session ahead of the event. To participate, please RSVP to let us know your availability!

On March 3, we will be contacting our local and state legislators and asking them for their support for funding programs that increase access to affordable housing. You can reach out to your legislators by phone or email and templates with suggested language and talking points will be provided beforehand. Don't know who your elected officials are? That's OK! You can find them at www.usa.gov/elected-officials.
