Last week I was totally humbled watching hundreds of professional builders and subcontractors descend on our site in Fuquay-Varina and completely build three homes in one week. As the scripture says, there was humility on that site and there were definitely some awesome deeds!
Triangle Builders Guild, Savvy Homes, and Williams Realty & Building were our partners for the week and they organized all their trade subcontractors and orchestrated a masterful event that ended up providing nearly instant homes that the Hopkins, Dessie, and el Ghorfi families will call home for years!
Home Builders Blitz was conceived by Raleigh custom home builder Tom Gipson in 2002 and since then 65 Habitat Wake homes have been built by professionals volunteering their time and talent to Habitat.
