The Home Builders Blitz is back!
This banner Habitat Wake events brings together local builders and other industry professionals to build a home from frame to finish in just seven days. The Home Builders Blitz, which began more than 20 years ago in 2002, has brought nearly 100 new, affordable homes to Wake County and more than 2000 homes nationwide.
One in four families in our community is cost-burdened, meaning they pay too much of their income toward housing at the expense of other necessities like groceries, healthcare and education. Our industry partners will add to the more than 900 safe, affordable, energy efficient homes we have built in all parts of Wake and Johnston counties and provide a family with an opportunity to purchase an affordable home that would have otherwise been out of reach.
