The Kpa-Ksor family, who partnered with the Catholic Coalition and an anonymous donor to build and buy their home, were recently profiled in the Garner-Cleveland Record. Thanks to the News & Observer's Jonathan Alexander for sharing the remarkable story of the Kpa-Ksor family!
The Kpa-Ksor home was built in honor of Pope Francis, which three purposes: To honor Pope Francis for his commitment to social justice and reinvigorating the Catholic Church; to provide a unifying, celebratory opportunity for both Catholic and non-Catholic volunteers to work together toward a common goal (as Pope Francis says, “Work confers dignity.”); and to further Habitat’s mission of building and preserving homes.
