On November 10, Habitat Wake celebrated the veterans in our community with our 2023 Veterans Build! Thanks to the Clayton High School Navy JROTC for presenting the colors at our kickoff ceremony. We appreciate Credit Suisse, MetLife, Builders Mutual and Eaton for their support and time spent volunteering.
This build allowed veterans to come together with a veteran homebuyer as we built and raised the walls for a home at our Old Poole Place community. Happy Veterans Day, and thank you to all our brave veterans for your service.
We are truly grateful for the camaraderie and teamwork that unfolded during our Veterans Build at Old Poole Place. It was inspiring to witness veterans joining forces with a fellow veteran homebuyer, symbolizing the strength and unity that defines our community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making this project a reality, and a special salute to our brave veterans on this Veterans Day!
